Our Story, Our Mission, Our Heart

Outlaws 4 Autism was born from a very personal place in my heart. My daughter, Marianna Nell Higgins, or Sissy as I lovingly call her, named after my late grandmother, is the inspiration behind everything we do. As an autistic and nonverbal child, her journey ignited a fire within me. Once the idea to help others formed in my soul, there was no turning back. The thought of being able to support so many families keeps me grounded and humbled. This entire endeavor is my personal bond to Sissy, a testament to her strength and spirit.

 Our foremost dream is to cultivate a world where autism is understood and embraced by all. We envision a community where compassion and patience are offered generously to individuals on the spectrum. Through raising awareness and fostering empathy, we aim to create an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive and feel genuinely accepted.  In addition to understanding and acceptance, we believe in the power of education as a vital tool for change. By equipping educators, families, and the community with the knowledge and resources necessary to support individuals with autism, we can break down barriers and misconceptions.
